A Flush door or Plank door is contemporary looking door that looks like it has been constructed by gluing up solid wood pieces that are the same thickness as door, in horizontal or vertical fashion. Flush doors are used as exterior Entry doors in large openings. Flush/Plank doors also give a “plank” look as thin strips of wood are glued horizontally or vertically to both sides of a solid wood core component. This adds stability to an especially large door and accounts for movement of wood members due to grain pattern.
